Reception children who are aged 4 years are allowed free milk. From January 2015 the Government food standards require schools to ensure ‘lower fat or lactose reduced milk is available to those who want it at least once a day during school hours’.

Your child can continue to have milk after their 5^th birthday but you will need to pay for this directly with the school milk provider, full details are available from the school office.
